Dental does and donts
Remarks :
1. It was near Chandigarh. After preparing for couple of years for medical seat I finally wanted a fun college life and what can be better than chandigarh. 2. It was providing the most inexpensive course for dental.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Bds is a four year degree with one year rotary internship. There are 19 subjects and a lot of clinical work . You have to pass all the papers to promote this course is based on yearly exams . Overall it is a hectic course.
Internships Opportunities :
College provide internship itself. There are 9 departments in dentistry and you have to complete your postings in all of these department . Work in department can vary . Conservative and endodontics being the most busy department.
Placement Experience :
In bachelor of dental sciences you do not get placed overall India. The job opportunities is based on how much work you have learned from your postings . You can always go to the clinics if you have learned the basics.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are many scholarship program at government and semi government level but the most important thing is you can get scholarship at University level as well . There are no campus placement in this college and also the stipend in internship is just 1000 rs.
Campus Life :
There is a fest annually generally conducted in November or December. Hostel Life is fine too . Mess food is average the only drawback of opting hostel is you can not swiggy or Zomato food inside college.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is fine . There is public washroom in hostel. Rooms are average too . Mess food is average and induction or kettle is not allowed also you can not order your food from swiggy or Zomato . So the only option is mess or college canteen.
Interview Experience :
No there was no group discussion, interview questions. You get medical seat through the aptitude test by national eligibility entrance test. Also after the exam councelling is held through which dental or medical seat is allotted.

KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Placement Experience :
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
