- In my college, I like the way of teaching in an integrated manner. In addition to studies we can able to participate in a lot of works like researches, sports, and other extracurricular activities.
Dislikes
- Honestly there are not much negative feedback about our college because it's one of the most prestigious college in India.
Remarks :
Madras medical College is one of the most prestigious college in India. Here we can see a lot of cases and we can learn more things from the cases. The facilities here are the most experienced doctors. The outpatient per day in RGGGH is nearly around 20,000. Compared with other colleges, in MMC there are institutions for each department. Most of the serious cases from various hospitals and medical colleges are referred here. Along with theoretical knowledge we can gather more clinical and practical knowledge here. There are number of cases here , as a UG student we can able to see more patients and cases . Coming on to inpatients there are around 8000 beds. So we can see lot of cases in wards too. And in addition to that we have the opportunity to see a number of surgeries and deliveries here. Everyone in our batch have the opportunity to see individually a lot of surgeries here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose mbbs as my career because it's my passion. From childhood onwards I wanted to be a doctor. Coming on to curriculum from 2018 batch we are having competency based medical education cbme curriculum. The teaching method will be an integrated manner as we can apply our knowledge in each every subject in an integrated manner. Faculties here are most friendly and most experienced. So the teaching method here will be awesome really. The exams will be yearly once University exams. The questions will be a little tough. Ofcourse we have to put a lot of effort to score more marks. Coming on to fees there is a lot of scholarships we can claim like from tamilnadu govt, first graduate scholarship, and many others. Mostly the tuition fees will be reduced for low socio-economic status students.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship will be a course of 12 months and we get stipend for that . Separate hostel facilities are there for interns. As a intern we can see a lot of cases by alone. So that we can learn more. And we can able to tackle serious situations in our future work from learning as intern.
Placement Experience :
Internship will be a course of 12 months and we get stipend for that . Here placements are not available. After finishing my mbbs course I would clear neet pg and after completing pg courses I'll clear mrb exams for the government job. This is the plan of mine.
Campus Life :
Every October to November we are having a lot of events like genesis - academic event, sports meet, hostel day event, the most important culturals- revivals and many other events are there in our college. There are a lot of books and journals in our library and the Library timings will be from morning 8 to night 8. Each and every books available here and a lot of journals are there for us. In hostel, a decent food with good rooms of accomodation 3 per room. The hostel maintenance fees will be monthly 1000 and mess fees varies according to the food we eat. Non veg are available most of the days and eggs are available daily . Registration for hostel is a simple process.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
