- Infrastructure was good , cooperation by college staff was excellent. After 3months I got adopted there and after that it was like a home.faculty is present whenever u needed any help.
- We were free to choose the menu of hostel that I liked the most.Warden of the hostel was very disciplined. He was always whenever we had any problem. College canteen have an amazing food,and was open 24*7
Dislikes
- I dislike the location of college,as it is 2 kms away from the highway.And I always hade to ask for lift,as there is no other option. Another thing that I disliked is to attend workshop classes as the teacher who was there to assist us was not well trained.
- After issuing the library books , students have to return them within 2o days of issuance,that I disliked the most.After 20 days, students have to pay fine if not renewed
Remarks :
I'm from Jammu and Kashmir, I was there on a scholarship funded 100% by the central government. I was allotted this college for my counseling based on the 12th percentile. The admission process was very simple, we provided them with the required documents, and the rest was done by the college staff. The college has a very good infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Sources offered there are Polytechnic, B.tech, M tech, B com, and B pharmacy. Teachers are well qualified ( having M tech and some are PhD holders) The teachers were very helpful throughout the course. B tech course is offered in 4 years with 8 semesters,2 semesters per year. In addition, minor exams are held by the college at regular intervals. The fee was 30000/semester, hostel fee was 55000/year (the fee might have been revised and u can check it on the college web address) I was there on a 100% scholarship funded by MHRD. Other scholarships are for Muslim minorities.NSP etc
Internships Opportunities :
We opted for many internships but were not given any stipend. We did an internship with many companies Sewage and water treatment with Kelvin Water Technologies Pvt Ltd. Dam. We had another internship with ITD CEM in dam construction. I also did my internship with R&B development in road mapping.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements are offered and the eligibility for that is if u have cleared all ur exams. 35 percent of students get placed through college placement. The highest package was 9 lakhs per annum. The average package was 350000/annum. I prepared for the govt job after completion of my course
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is very peaceful. you get to know the culture of different states as students there are all over the country. College fest is conducted 2 times a year called JOSH. Besides other fests are also conducted regularly. Sports activities are conducted annually, I was the captain of the engineering cricket team. The hostel is good.2-3 students are allowed in one room. Rooms are provided with 3 lockers, 2 fans, and a cooler.AC is provided on special requests and additional charges are imposed on that. The food in the hostel is good. only veg is served. Electricity is provided 24*7. I opted hostel for all 4 years of my course.

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Placement Experience :
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
