- Inside campus there's a lot of food corners and college has a very clean environment.
- If we talk about faculty most of them are very helpful and humble.
Dislikes
- Toilets in our college are operated at the worse condition
- Except Wednesday we're not allowed to enter the campus without uniform and the security Don't let us exit the campus without councillor's signature
- In 1st and 2nd sem 5 out of 6 subject are from different branches which we don't wanna study still we're forced to do so
Remarks :
It is in my city that's also one of the reasons I chose it I got direct admission just by visiting the campus. My school seniors and my cousins suggested me to take admission in Uka Tarsadia University because it's one of the few private universities in Surat that provides an engineering degree
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is a private university which is a plus point because it conducts its exams based on its syllabus even though the syllabus is very lengthy it provides us with assignments and important questions so that anyone can score good marks Most of the faculties are very friendly but few of them have very unsocial behavior (most of them are from the physics dept. And mechanical dept.) All the lectures are conducted in Gujarati language which is a negative of my college The engineering dept has 3 exams in a semester (2 internal/midterm exams + 1 external/university exam) State and Central govt provide a good number of scholarships to deserving students
Internships Opportunities :
Currently, I'm in my first year but my 3rd yr seniors opted for internships in many big giants like Wipro, Adani, ultra-tech, etc Sometimes they give the same problems-based projects for students of all branches they specify branches Most of them provide a stipend with a certificate. Many of them ask for python programming, data filtering, web designing, electronic knowledge, etc
Placement Experience :
Students other than the Computer and IT branches get way better placements because the whole college is full of students from these two branches students so they get low packages from mass recruiters. But electrical, mechanical, civil, mechatronics, etc get Better placements The only criteria to sit in college placement is to have no backlogs or KT in any exams The average package is around 2-3 LPA and the highest package is around 8-10 LPA Most of the students (>90% of students) get placed in the college placement drive Reliance, TCS, HDFC, Hindustan Unilever, Indane Oil, Godrej, etc are some of the recruiters. More than 1000 offers are made by them I am planning to further studies at foreign universities
Campus Life :
Youth Fest is one of the biggest events at our university we also celebrate most of the national and regional festivals at the college and University levels. Students are provided books from the library according to their curriculum and manuals and notes in PDF format Every college has its own sports week as well as the university-level sports week We have most of the clubs like dance, music, media, social services, women's clubs, startups, etc Students with faculty run the NSS club The hostel fee is 65-90k, according to bedding preference (single bed/ 2 beds/ 4 beds). The mess is not 24x7 so students who study late night face problems in their mess schedule In my opinion mess food is very messy, they provide sugar dal, lassi has only white water, rice is very hard, Roti is very thin and smaller in size, sabji in mess is just a soup In PG one can find better facilities than a college hostel at a cheaper price, one of them is in Isroli village which is the nearest village to the college

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
