ITM SLS BARODA UNIVERSITY College Review by Donil Patel

- The basic infrastructure theme they designed is attractive.
- Campus is good overall, as it was not that bad than some other colleges with this course.
Dislikes
- Faculty availability has always been an issue in our college, every sem we have a subject whose faculty is either not available or professor from another state is hired to cover the whole syllabus of that subject in the time period of 1-2 weeks.
- Campus can be improved if they keep on working for it's improvement rather than wasting time in their unnecessary marketing.
Remarks :
I compared this college with other 3-4 colleges. In the case of studies, campus, facilities, and management, I felt this college would suit me well. This college maybe had a cut-off criteria but I had enough percentage in my 12th (85%), so they gave me admission through Direct Quota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Also, I am pursuing a degree from this college just because I have a plan to learn master's abroad, so there's no pressure on placement as well, as this college doesn't provide us with many placements and contacts. Talking about the teaching methods, it's quite similar to other colleges, nothing's different. The difficulty level is quite tough for us as they provide us scholarships for students who score more than 8.0 GPA in the semester external exams. The fee hike is less compared to other colleges.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't opted for any internship provided by the college yet. They provided some internships which were international and on our cost but it was much costly plus that was not paid too so I didn't applied for that.
Placement Experience :
They offer campus placement and internships but very less as compared to the number of students. Also, no big companies visit our college for any hiring. I don't know much more about this because I'm still in 3rd year but this information is what my seniors told me.
Campus Life :
The environment of our college campus is good, students keep involved in every club going on, and our fest Illuminati which helds every year in Feb-March month. Of course, books are available as per the requirement in the library. During our first year, there was no sports activity as we were just studying after the lockdown got ended, so no work was done. Currently, I'm in my 3rd year and I can proudly say that sports activities are much more improved than we faced in our fresher's life. Talking about the hostel life, they provide AC/non-ac room options as required, food in the mess obviously which is quite unhygienic, but other canteen is available which provides good food. Our hostel comes under the Halol locality.

My views on PGDM from Shanti Buisness School
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria to sit in the placement is to score more than 60 percentage in the Semester exams as the companies come with the criteria for the percentage. Apart from this eligibility is depend on the company and if Certification course and skills are there than it is a plus point and also advisable.
