My detailed experience at Ahmedabad dental college and Hospital

- I like the facilities over here as they are very experienced and have passion towards their work ,they teach us so deeply and in nice way , the are the teachers who have made main University exam papers and have also checks those answer sheets so they have the best experience
- They way our college is developing at a very fast pace we got a skin care clinic and all events and all are happening at grand levels , our main chairman said that the aim is making the college India's no.1 dental college by end of 2 years and the way it's happening we have high hopes that it will happen soon
- Our hostel environment as near by we have small forest like or we can say farm like trees and all one environment so it feels fresh where we are detached and away from city life and also we have Newly set up geyser in hostel rooms if any one like it then , 24/7 full day water is available and also per room only 2 people stays and have private bathroom per room with shower and geyser facilities
- For Hostel students once a week outing bus is arranged where students can go out for free in bus service for approximately 4 hours and enjoy
- We have mess and 2 garden spaces where people chill after having food generally, we also have canteen where we can pay and have food of our choice when don't want to eat in mess then ,also mess food menu changes slightly every month but not big difference comes , mess food is good almost times so it's nice
Dislikes
- As it's far away from city life so with pro comes cons that we can easily go out without own vehicles as no public near by transport is available and rikshaw take high charges so it's an issue to be considered
- Sometimes hostel mess food is not that great it's either not tasty or more oily or they are very late
Remarks :
For admission, you have to give the NEET UG exam after choosing Bio in Science stream in 11th and 12th and after that, through government portals, you can apply for admission in such colleges through rounds and cutoff changes every year, NEET require 40 to 47% depending on your cast and then if your NEET score is less you can also apply via management quota its fees is the same as government quota 3.14 lacs, I had a direct discussion with the CEO of the college after getting selected in government rounds due to my nice score, my college has a nice campus and also is associated with Gujarat University, the con is that it is very far away from the city area as it is in rural area so hostel students have a bit problem while going out as no availability of public transport, but slowly near by places are developing and also our college is growing on fast pace, other than that we also had low patient inflow but that's also changing rapidly and many more good changes are being brought into considerations
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I like dental so I chose these, the facilities and all are superb as are called with high fees from far away and they teach nicely, per year you get 1/2 internal 1 prelims and last 1 University exam, paper style is the same as the main uni exams and moderate difficulty level, fees remains the same throughout the whole course and currently fees are 3.14lacs and hostel fees are around 1 lacs and transportation fees for local people is 45k but you can bargain in last 2 of them, you can also have few scholarships like Mysy for all categories even open just thing is your 12th percentile must be above 80, and OBC and SC, ST have other digital scholarship, SC and ST students mostly stay and study for free as they get this scholarship and the requirements is their cast certificate and other details you can see at the website, for general only mysy is there which gives 50% fees back in a student bank account and if general and OBC don't get mysy then don't expect any other things help.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college doesn't give any stipend for internships not does offer any internship programs, but last year when doing an internship you got to work for 2 months in Sola Civil where you got endless new types of cases and patient inflow for experience
Placement Experience :
No placements happened over here, but after completing the degree you can opt for a number of opportunities like abroad in one of the best countries like USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA or also you can give NEET PG and opt for masters as MDS or you can try to join in our college as teaching faculty of you are good at it, or can open a private clinic or can work at some hospital or clinic or can try giving government officers exam if you are good at studies and there are other endless of opportunities waiting for you after BDS
Campus Life :
January - Freshers party February - sports week and cultural days like traditional day, food fest, and all almost 2-week celebration April - dance and all auditions and practice May - Ignite (Annual function) Then almost all big events like Navratri and Ganesh Chaturthi are celebrated, Navratri happens on a Grand level, and also lord Ganesh is welcomed and celebrated Almost all dental books you'll get in the library and classrooms are well furnished with AC and Big TV screens and speakers We have to sports fest in February it's inter-year sports and once in year, it's inter-college sports arranged by our college. Cultural group Sports representative group and such 5 to 6 groups of students are there to arrange all things For the Hostel there is a mess with okay food few things are very nice and also the canteen is available and the menu changes slightly every month, can talk about hostel availability and fees are around 1 lac, people stay in PG or rent but it's not recommended as college is in rural

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

Placement Experience :
No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
