- The best thing about the campus was infrastructure and campus Life. Students from all over India are present. And it's a seperate world inside campus which I loved the most.
- The food in the hostels are very good. The menu has different varieties and options throughout the week. And there are restaurants and food joints all around campus. And there is also no water shortage.
Dislikes
- Only thing I would say is choose your course very carefully and thoroughly researching and asking opinions from students or experts.
- The scope as in placement are not there from our college. So the options are limited to either work or start a clinic or pursue Post graduation after giving NEET.
Remarks :
I got a seat in Telangana through the India quota. But, my parents wanted me to be around them so they insisted on selecting college in and around Chennai. So, I opted for SRM KDC since I know about the campus and it is a safe place as they have medical engineering and all other courses on the campus and even travel was comfortable for me. I didn't have much knowledge about the course when I joined.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Tuition fees per year were 5,00,000. For four years, it came to 20,00,000 plus additional instruments, book, and exam charges. It would roughly be around 21,50,000 for the whole course without a hostel, travel, and food. The faculties were all MDS completed plus specialization. They have great clinical and theory knowledge. The fees are the same throughout the year however the immediate juniors had fewer fees (3,00,000). It totally depends on the year of joining. There won't be a hike or less after. Exams were held around the same date every year. We were in the COVID era so our exams got delayed. But they were put back to the usual time stamp. The difficulty level of the exam depends upon the student's level of preparation. I would say it was moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
We have to complete one year rotary internship after giving out final year exams. The internship is to gather clinical knowledge from all the department. Duration would be one month for every department. One and a half for OMFS and prosthodontics. Total of 9 departments. So total of 1 year. Stipend was introduced from 2017 batch. We got 2500 per month, depending on days present. We had to complete a study or publish a case study which is mandatory.
Placement Experience :
We do not have any placements perse. But we can join clinic and any company for job. I would say there's not much opportunity. Most of us prepare for Postgraduate exam or govt exams(not many). According to my knowledge no one was directly placed through our college. But many are pursuing PG courses all over India after giving NEET.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is top notch at SRM. We have some or the other fest going on. We conduct a fest once a year by the current intern batch. There's a separate building for the library itself. It is located in and central place. And we have reading rooms and a library attached to the respective department and one main library in our whole building for our course. For sports, there's ample space for outdoor games and indoor games.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Not bad placement trainings and good faculty members to train for placements . Good companies with good packages come for placement drives who select the best of all and give placements for them. Good placements.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
