- For the people of tripura it's a dream college for many , Many eminent doctors who are practicing medicine in the state are from TMC
- It is the only medical College in Tripura where you will get a campus unlike AGMC, a playground to play cricket or football during leisure hours is a major attraction for students of our college
Dislikes
- One thing I mostly hate is the mess food, the quantity and quality of food should have to be upgraded
- Another one I can say is the busy schedule, a student barely gets any time to chill and relax there is always a constant pressure academically
Remarks :
The tripura medical College is a well known medical College in the premises of hapania Agartala, infrastructure is so good and the level of education is also of national standard , If I say about the bad aspects it would hardly count any, some faculty shortage is there and otherwise academically it's a good place to train yourself in medicine You have to get admission by clearing NEET UG, held every year and the cut off is fluctuating also, if you score around 450-470 you can surely get the admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
Choosing MBBS was always my passion since my childhood and TMC has fulfilled my promises , faculties here are so well versed in their respective fields , smart board teaching with projectors are there in every class there are 3 trimester exam held in every year with a year ending University examination conducted by TRIPURA University and you have to pass those exams with adequate amount of attendance to get qualified for next professional year , for economically weaker people there are some certain scholarships which they will be benefited, Earlier during my admission the fee for the complete course is 54 lacs now it is 68 lac in 2023/24
Campus Life :
There is a yearly fest held every year where 90/100 activities are there which held for 1 week, campus area is so large and well furnished, there is a central Library in the academic building where more than 3000 different medical books are available No political activity is there which is a major plus point for the student Mess food I would say is Lil bit of low standard You can get your hostel after you get your admission into the college, rooms are sufficiently big for 2 students to fit in

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.
Undiscovered NIT - NIT Agartala
Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.
Must Go through it then apply.
Placement Experience :
Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.

Internship is not so good but the placement here is very much satisfying It is worth joining this college if your are looking for placement even in low range jee main score around 91 to 98 You get to improve yourself with the help of seniors and friends
