- Infrastructure as out boys hostel is heaven. They aren't like hostels they are like flats literally. We have all services like like geysers and water coolers present on every floor of our hostel and wifi is also installed everywhere in hostel even in college also.
- Club culture,as we get opportunity to join in many clubs and we get a lot of exposure towards any particular field through these clubs , so they are literally awesome in terms of clubs.
Dislikes
- Mess food in first year. It's like hell here , we don't eat for taste we just eat to be alone ve everyday. The worst food I have ever ate.
- Faculty, as they always do partiality among Other state and home state students and always treat Other state students like they did any crime or what.
Remarks :
The factors for which I joined this college is that first of all it is a National institute and has its own brand value and it's infrastructure is also awesome and better than many other colleges of India. After seeing this all I joined this college. For admission in this college we have to clear a common engineering entrance test known as Joint entrance exam-mains (JEE). Through that if you get the enough rank to join this college you will able admitted easily here. However it's a bit difficult to get admission here in good branches like Computer science , electronics and etc. You need to about score 98.5-99 percentile in mains for CSE and around 98-98.5 percentile for ECE and even for mechanical you need 96 percentile.Although there are many quota also which can help and requires less cutoff as compared to pure general category. You just need to get you caste certificates verified here and you can avail benefits of that quota easily.That's all our NIT agartala's admission process is.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum actually depends branch wise. If I talk about course curriculum of my branch that is mechanical engineering then it's too hectic and busy curriculum as we have to attend 6 labs and 6 theory classes in a week. I chose this course by choice as I was having intrest in automobiles sector. However CSE and civil branch students have a veri light curriculum and most of the time they roam freely in the campus. If I talk about examinations here, then they occur frequently like as semester starts just after a month we have put mid term examinations and as soon as mid term examination end after one or one and a half month of it we again have our end semester exams. And during semester also some class tests and quizzes goes on.Overall fees is not too high but then also they provide many fee concessions like if you annual family income is less than 1,00,000 then your tuition fees if 0 and if you have your annual income is between 100000-500000 then your tuition fees will be 2/3rd.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship yet as I am fromfirst year only and here usually companies visit for internships purposes in 3rd year only and really some good companies like L&T, paypal visits here at our college and offers a good sum for internships. Even in 3rd year there will be credit for doing an internship in you curriculum. Overall I don't know much about internships and internship culture as I am also in first year only. We are just exploring and enjoying college life. We don't know that much about internships.Sorry.
Placement Experience :
Placement scenario here in NIT agartala is average only but yes some good PSU companies do visit here and offers somewhere between 18-20 lakhs LPA. More good companies also visits here like Adobe , L&T, Amazon etc. Overall I will say placements are okay-okay here not that much good not that much bad. This year I think only 50% students were placed in CSE and ECE and in branches like civil mechanical, there were only 25-30% placement.My plan is clear that I don't have any expectations regarding placement from this college. I will just simply complete my degree from here and upscale myself with many skills then I will apply off-campus companies and using NIT agartala's brand value and it's national's tag in order to grab a good placement.Yeah this is true that if you from a NIT or IIT then you will get preference everywhere in companies and all that.So yes, if you can also do like I planned then you can join this college, no issues. But if you want placement,then look for better college.
Campus Life :
Overall campus Life is good as soo many clubs for almost everything activity is present here. Time to time all the clubs are active also so you can participate and upscale your skills parallelly to your academics. Afterall we have Asia's biggest sports complex here in our college as you can check facts from Google also.We have gym,basketball court, badminton courts,football ground ,cricket ground and swimming pool also,what else a boy or girl wants in their college if all these stuff is already present. We have Dzire clube for dance,Aaveg club for acting,DCC club for coding and afterall we have robotics club and many more things.And you won't believe that we also build a buggy or car every year and present it at BAJA SAE India at Natrax Indore every year. Some clubs are really very good here.we also have E-cell club for business minded students and debate clubs is also available here.You have many canteens present at about every turn of our college. College life is overall is fun here.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.
Must Go through it then apply.
Placement Experience :
Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.
