- NIT agartala campus is vast surrounded by greens everywhere we see. The buildings are divided by different branches. The classrooms are big and spacious for all the students to fit. You’ll get everything you required inside the campus. The faculty are friendly and helpful.
Dislikes
- According to me They should provide transportation for the students inside the college campus as the buildings are a little far from the gates it’s a lot of walking and tiring . The food in hostel can be improved and the washrooms needs to be maintained.
Remarks :
The place where I stay i.e Agartala, Tripura here National Institute of Technology is known as the best government engineering college, so I opted for it by clearing my JEE on my first attempt and selecting the Mechanical Engineering branch as my first preference. Everything about the admission process was smooth from filling out the form to all the necessary payments. There was no PI held during my time of admission. You need to clear the JEE with the cut-off marks and then you can apply for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Choosing mechanical engineering as my course as mechanical engineering offers a wide range of opportunities from designing innovative machines to sustainable energy solutions. It’s a versatile field that provides a strong foundation in engineering principles, and problem-solving skills. The faculty here are very friendly and helpful to the students always present to give solutions to the students whenever required. Exams we need to give class tests, then mid-term examinations of 20 marks and end-term of 50 marks internal exams are taken. The fee structure differs from student to student there’s no same fee for anyone.
Internships Opportunities :
I did an internship at NIELIT Gorakhpur and my topic was Robotics Automation Process for a month, where they taught about what the process was about using a software called UI-path studio, and learned about the most relevant tools that can be used.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria Every company that comes has different criteria so there are no particular criteria. The highest package is till now is 400000. 80% of students are placed till now. After getting my degree I want to study more.
Campus Life :
NIT conducts a lot of programs and cultural fest every occasion is celebrated beautifully and worth seeing. Tech fest called Aayam where students from all the different branches showcase their talents by making machines developing games and lots more than the biggest cultural fest is called Moksha for 3 days it’s conducted all three 3 days have different programs to see. Library, where we get to see lots of books from all the different branches, are provided whenever students want they can take book and study. In the classroom, we’re taught through E-classes. Sports is a very important part and NIT Agartala knows it very well cricket tournaments football tournaments badminton and lots more are held and students get opportunities to go out of Tripura and play. There are different clubs in college for dancing and singing arts. Hostel food can be improved I think as for local people they can manage but for outsiders, it’s a little bit difficult to adjust.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.
Must Go through it then apply.

Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.
