- The faculty comes out really helpful and guiding if you have a decent impression. They're also likely to help you during off college hours too.
- The canteen is really great with almost every type of snack and fastfoods. That to at decent price. The canteen is one of the best place to hangout with your friends.
- The labs are also equipped with new and decent equipments for practicals. They're routinely cleaned and renewed.
- The computer lab is also decent with decent systems with decent specs and can run almost every required software.
Dislikes
- One major disadvantage is the 75% attendance criteria though decided by the university, it comes off as a major challenge if academics isn't your main priority
- The campus life isn't something you dream of as a fresher with strict rules and regulations. although you'll feel more relaxed as you come into second year
- The rules can be relaxed a bit as you can't use phone in class, if caught you'll face punishment for it.
Remarks :
I had a few reasons to choose this college as 01: It happened to be in the same city where I live i.e. Gorakhpur 02: From what I heard from my friends, seniors, and relatives, I had a decent impression of this college. 03: The placement stats were not so great but also weren't too bad either at last solely depending on my hard work. 04: The fee structure was affordable for me. 05: The academics part isn't very impressive but decent enough with a fair share of good faculty and management. For the admission process, you can enroll through: 01: Management Quota (Direct admission) The eligibility criteria is no backlog in 12th grade. 02: Through AKTU counseling where you'll have to score around 75-85%ile to enroll in CSE and related departments. Also, you can switch from Direct to Counselling if you're eligible for it. Since I enrolled through counseling, I had to appear for JEE Main where the preparation for boards was enough for me.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I had to enroll in a technical course based on my academic choices earlier. B.Tech provides us with useful technical skills but also opens the gate to almost every field as I can either opt for a job, go for higher studies, or Research field. The faculty has a fair share of a Few passionate and great teachers, Most of them have completed their PhD from Tier-1 institutes. The teaching method is good as per the requirements of the university. Classes are equipped with projectors too. 3 Sessional exams are held in a semester where the first two are mandatory and the third is optional. The exams are held timely with a proper schedule and the difficulty level is a little above or similar to the university exam The fee hike policy is greatly in favor of students as they don't increase the fee during your 4 years of the course. The students are eligible for scholarships from UP Government and they'll get their scholarships ranging from Rs.54,000 OBC to Rs.1,00,000 Sc
Internships Opportunities :
I have been a doubt solver on Chegg which necessarily isn't an internship but pays me a decent stipend per month. The role wasn't offered but I applied for it through their website. It pays me enough for my small expenses. Apart from that, I've not done any internship till now and am looking forward to doing it.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria are mostly decided by the companies which is around 7.5 CGPA with no ongoing backlogs. A few companies that visited our college this year are TCS and Accenture. The highest package that I've come across is 7 LPA with an average of around 2.5-3 LPA Due to the recession, the placements have taken a toll this year but have managed to provide placement]to almost all the registered students. I plan to try to grab a decent placement from the college and if I fail to do so, I'll most probably try off-campus or go for higher studies.
Campus Life :
The college hosts a few fests around the year such as Parampara and Annual Function too. The annual function is held around March. The library is equipped with a lot of useful Books journals and newspapers. You also can request the library to make a book available for you. You can issue the books for yourself too. Sports and extracurricular activities aren't very good but the college provides us with decent Fields and a few clubs which you can join to make the most out of them. I am a part of the music club which has helped me in acquiring various skills too. We do frequent practice and perform in almost every fest and function.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
