- College is far away from main city. It is located in Industrial areas
- Students are not allowed to go out after the restricted timings.
Remarks :
The good aspects are - Return on investment is good. The college has a track record of 100% placement. The highest package was 14 LPA and the minimum package was 6.5 LPA. The average salary was 10 LPA. Top recruiters of this college are EY, KPMG, Infosys, Federal Bank, SBI Life, etc. Live projects in the first and second semesters give the company exposure. Mandatory Summer Internship Programme of 2 months. SUPA project of 3 weeks. Bad aspects - The college is far away from Chennai. It is located in an Industrial area. The admission criteria are any of the management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, etc. Candidates who score above the 75 percentile can apply to college by filling out a form from the college website. There is a GD round and a PI round. Based on GDPI, students get selected. You need to prepare recent trending topics. Present as much data as you can with true references. You should know about your CV in detail. In the PI round, most questions will be asked from there and a case will be there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Post Graduation in Diploma Management because, in the first year, they teach us every subject regardless of any specialization. The teachers are well-qualified and have practical knowledge. The faculty has industrial knowledge and experience. They also train the management of the company in a program called the “MDP program”. Most faculty are PhD. Their teaching method is very simple to understand. They connect every topic to the real world. They also discuss the Havard case study in class. There are six semesters in the 2-year course. Each semester lasts for 3 months. Exams are held twice in each semester - Midterm and End term. The exam happened usually on time. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The fee hike this year was 70,000. There are a lot of scholarships available in the college such as the Chairman award, President's Best Student award, Best Student of the Year award, and Best Student according to every specialization. Best SIP award. All these awards contain cash prizes of 10,000 and above.
Internships Opportunities :
Britannia - Marketing and Sales. Illuminated Industries Pvt Ltd. - Data Analyst In the Data Analyst role, analyse the company sales data draw the pattern of demand by customers, and forecast the future demand based on past demand. Rational Decision-making for CRM tools. Migration of CRM data from one CRM to another. Promethean Energy Pvt. Ltd. - Market Research intern In this role, the intern is required to do market research on one company and then identify four competitors of the company and analyze the competitor’s company. Find the area of improvement in your own company. Various projects such as Social media marketing. Lead generation is there.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement cell in the college. The placement record is 100% on the campus. The eligibility criteria for placement is a minimum of 4.8 CGPA out of 8 CGPA. The minimum attendance criteria are also fulfilled. The recruiter who visited is - EY, KPMG, Infosys, Federal Bank, Hyundai, TVS, etc. They made 5 -10 offers. The highest package was 14 LPA, The lowest package was 6.5 LPA. The average package was 9.5 LPA. 100% of students are placed in the college. After getting the degree, we can start our initial journey with corporate.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good. Students can go out camping from 4 pm to 6 pm every day. The fest which is organised annually is Prometheus. It is conducted in October every year. Students from 20 colleges participate from Chennai, Kerala, and Bangalore. The library has collections of 10000+ books. Newspaper is provided to each student in the library. The business journals are available every month. They provide smart classrooms with Wifi enabled. The classroom is AC-equipped. The sports committee organizes sports competitions every semester. 10 student-driven clubs in the college focus on extracurricular activities. The social club is Xseed which helps the needy people in society. They regularly visit NGOs and help them. The hostel room is too spacious. AC and attached bathroom also is there in every hostel room. The food menu is decided by the mess committee every month. Mostly a combination of North and South foods are there. They hygienically prepare food. Veg / Non-veg both are available

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.

Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
