I cleared my NEET UG exam on my first attempt. From state counseling, I got admitted to this college and it was my preferred choice too as no state bond policy applied to this college, and was located at a good distance from my house well connected by bus and metro. I prepared for my NEET exam at home with online classes from Aakash, South ex branch because of the lockdown.
From childhood, I wanted to become a good doctor and had a special interest in Biology as well as physics but my passion for becoming a doctor led me to choose mbbs. Here at MAMC, Agroha, the teachers and faculty are well-qualified doctors who are very knowledgeable and quite student-friendly as well as easily approachable for doubts. They are great mentors as well and willing to guide and help us at every step. Even the seniors are very friendly and overall make the environment student-friendly even for those like us who step out of their homes for the first time Our term exams are conducted regularly every 3 months followed by university exams at year end. The difficulty level is moderate and 90% covered in markings given by our generous seniors. The overall fee structure is around 2lacs with mess charges extra and being from a general upper middle class family I haven’t got myself entitled to any such scholarship!
Compulsory campus hospital internship included in the course. Rounds in all the Provincial departments as interns are necessary to be eligible to get the mbbs degree. We are posted in OPDs, Wards, ICUs, Emergency as well as Operation Theatre on rounds with other fellow interns of the same batch.
The course offers a compulsory internship of 1 year from the college itself which is paid (17000/month). No such thing as campus placement takes place here or anywhere for mbbs. After the degree, you can join anywhere as a junior resident or crack the neet-pg exam and start your post-graduation
The campus life! If you are dreaming of a Student of the Year life here, it’s a myth and a far-fetched idea. There is no life here. Only one event takes place the whole year “Mania” which was conducted after 4 years this year. No social groups, no clubs nothing runs here as neither the students nor the administration supports any such idea. The hostel lacks basic electrical backup and summers experience 12-16hr power cuts too. The mess was serving good food at student-friendly prices until the administration forcibly converted it into a private mess from the cooperative mess. The food is tasteless and sometimes inedible to the extent that future doctors are becoming prone to health hazards themselves. Any agitation or meeting against such unjust things directly leads the students to expulsion with heavy fines.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
