- The Timetable and infrastructure and the location of college are very optimal in my opinion
- Campus Life is also good since there are sports here you can just play wherever you wish to and there are competitions happening every now and then.
Dislikes
- Mess food is one of the downbads of the college
- Climate is also harsh if you are from north and not habituated to heat then you might face some issues here.
Remarks :
The ranking of college among the IIIT's and the public talk about the college. Good things about college:- •Infrastructure •Placements •The location of college(near to city) •Labs. Admission process:- •Admissions are accepted through JEE mains and DASA. The rank of you in the examination decides whether you get a seat here or not. •Cutoffs are available in official website of jossa it changes every. year regarding the toughness of. exam. •Admission can be also done through CSAB special rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason I chose this course is for my rank this was the best option I had. Faculty here are well qualified and not even needed to worry regarding faculty. The term exams are a bit moderate if you prepare for the exams from a month before daily then you wouldn't face any issue in the exams. Some subjects are tough not all of them are easy but since the grading is done relatively you will be fine. There is one mid sem and end semester exam. Lab practical too and assignments as well the Cgpa of the semester will be based on this. Fee of the college is same as any IIIT or NIT since this is under the government of India. Here Sc st and PWD students only need to pay hostel fees and Tuition fee is nil for them. Some scholarship are also available like NSP and the college also accepts education loan from banks.
Placement Experience :
The placements are pretty decent in this college the highest for the year was 54LPA and many companies indeed come to the college during the final semester ending time. This year 97% students got placed with a minimum package of 11Lpa
Campus Life :
Life is pretty chill at this campus.If you are interested in sports this college is a good choice for you.since the college has a reputation for sports meets and competitions. Campus is of 52 acres and the hostel is pretty good there are three skyscraper hostel consisting of 14 floors each. The class rooms are also pretty good and well maintained.The college infrastructure has everything it needs. The downloads of the clg is the climate and mess food the mess food is kinda okay okay not that good sometimes you can't eat the food here at all. And regarding the climate since it's located in Chennai the temperature is high and humidity is somewhat high. There are lot of clubs like art,music, technical,games and etc which are available from second year. There are many Instagram pages regarding IIITDMK's clubs you could just search them by typing IIITDMK clubs. Regarding Library the clg has one of the best library with well interior.There are all types of reference books available.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
