- College location is very good, located out of city gives peace & connects us to animals and nature. I like more about my college clinical complex as it gets enough number of cases to learn and practice . .
- Faculties are so good and friendly. College is having nice infrastructure.
Dislikes
- There is the outpass system for going outside the campus i.e, we have to take sign from hostel warden on outpass for going outside the campus
- Delivery boys are not allowed inside the campus, college canteen is not so good.
Remarks :
I have written the NEET exam in the year 2019. Got 28000 AIR. Selected this college in my first round of VIC counseling through online mode. Approx cutoff in the year 2019 for GEN - 55000, OBC-75000, SC/ST- 150000. A good aspect of this college is very good academics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
BVSc & AH is a 5.5 yrs professional course, which contains 18 subjects, 4.5 yr (core course)+1yr (internship) I year contains 3 subjects( veterinary anatomy, Veterinary physiology, livestock production management) II years contains 5 subjects- Veterinary microbiology, veterinary pathology, veterinary biochemistry, animal nutrition, animal genetics, and breeding III yr contains 7 subjects- Veterinary public health, veterinary pharmacology, veterinary parasitology, livestock products technology, veterinary and animal husbandry extension education, livestock farm practices, and veterinary clinical practices. IV yr contains 3 subjects- veterinary medicine, veterinary surgery, veterinary gynecology, and obstetrics. Migration is possible after passing 1st year of the course within 1 month of the start of the academic session of 2nd year of receiving college. The mode of teaching language is English(in classrooms) Scholarship is available for both VCI students as well as state Qouta students.
Placement Experience :
The college didn't offer any placements. But after BVSc & AH students can join in many sectors including research, the Indian army, professors, administrative services, farm practices, own pet clinics/hospitals, etc. The average package after bvsc is 50000/per month My plan after my degree is to join the Indian army as an officer.
Campus Life :
Vcri Tirunelveli was started in 2012, it has a vast campus, occupying around 125 acres of land in the outer Tirunelveli city area, which gives a very peace inside the college. Fest are conducted between April to July. The college has its library with number of books available related to subjects and other than subjects. The college has its own cricket ground, football ground, running track, volleyball court, cricket practice net, open gym, closed gym, throwball court, table tennis, badminton court, long jump, etc. The college campus includes 1 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel, hostel food is just ok to eat. Every month once feast will be organized by hostel secretary. Registration for the hostel will be done on the day of admission. Outside campus also room rents available at distance of 200m to 1km. No PG is available nearby.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
