My admission was based on Jee Mains's score. You should have a minimum of 75% to get admission through jee mains score. The other admission criteria are bum sat, and then maybe an interview that is just formalities.
I choose B. Tech in computer science in this college because of less crowd in this university, which gives you an edge over other universities. But for the ones who are going to seek admission, there is a huge increment in several students and when you see the fees of this college, that is not going to justify the facilities that you get and the placement opportunities because of so many crowds and limited availability of resources. Teachers are well versed and their teaching method is overall good. Every exam is conducted on time and in terms of difficulty cs related subjects are low-level difficulty but the other electronics-related subjects and maths are tougher. Every year there is an increment of a 10% fee and this college is costly to afford, so try to get scholarships.
College provides an internship for 2 months after your 4th sem which is called PS2. PS2 companies are startups only. 98% of PS2 companies offers no stipend during PS2. Although ps3 internship happens after 7th sem, almost everyone gets paid internship, and depending upon the situation the PS3 company will provide you ppo.
As I mentioned earlier, everyone had a good number of opportunities and everyone had 1-2 offers before graduating. Placement of BTech is at worst, increased batch size, so high competition, and this year only 50% of students have been placed in the tech sector. Service Now is the best company that comes here and provides above 30 lakh. For the 2024 batch average package would be around 5-6 lakhs per annum.
Life is good and the campus is not that large. Social life used to be great here but in recent times due to high admission and increased number of students, you will feel overcrowded place. Some so many clubs and events are not so great, but you will find the Mrityuanjaya Theatre Society which is the major club and organizes events that are engaging and so good. I love being in a hostel and the hostel is very costly, the mess is worst considering the fees of 2 lakhs for a 3-bed hostel and you need to pay for the electricity bill for your room.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
