Remarks :
I Got Through Counselling. To be honest this college wasn't even on my list. This is one of the 4 colleges in Tamilnadu to have a Geo-Informatics course which was my first choice. But I got stuck with Mechanical engineering. Looking back I should have listened to my father and chosen a nice private college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I Applied For Geo-Informatics but got a mechanical Course, Most of the teaching staff are Ass. Professors in the Mechanical Dept. are not good teachers. Lacking in many aspects such as Practical Laboratories and Environment. Most classrooms are in bad condition and look like they may fall anytime soon. The HOD Dr. S. Rajakumar Keeps Grudges and Keeps pushing silly Rules. Fees are Low as we only pay Rs 15000 /- per Semester. However, the AU Main Campus has increased the exam fee to 150 per subject. There are no proper Computer facilities to learn AutoCAD and CREO. Even the CREO version they are using is Older V.3. Most teachers don't even come to classes regularly and expect students to know everything.
Internships Opportunities :
College doesn't help with internships and we have to use our own money and connections to join internships at good companies. But they would rather hound us to intern at good companies but not help us. They said that we only had to provide the name of the place we were going to intern and that they would send the request letters, Which did not happen. After waiting for the CLG to send the request letter I had to send a letter myself.
Placement Experience :
Placements are Non-existent for the mechanical department and the faculty does not even try to get companies to come to our campus. But they take full credit if any of the students get placed in a core company. The Highest Package in 2024 was 7.4 LPA which the student got due to his talent. But the College claims to be the reason they got placed which is shitty
Campus Life :
Campus Life isn't that good and most students do not participate in anything. Even if the students try to do anything the faculty manages to ruin it. The Library is a mess and there are only a handful of books and most of them are outdated. The Faculty tries to put down any Extracurricular activities and then acts like it is the fault of the students. There are no Social Clubs or Groups. The hostel is cramped as 6 students are living in a room designed for 4 people. Food is the worst and even literal cat food is better than the shit they give here.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Not bad placement trainings and good faculty members to train for placements . Good companies with good packages come for placement drives who select the best of all and give placements for them. Good placements.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum

I have choose and the course Artificial intelligence and data science it was very helpful for the future World under faculty was very knowledgeable and skillful person they teaches meni knowledgeable things and skillful things to do we prepared the time the departed for the exam was also affordable
