Likes
- Good infrastructure. It has air conditioned classrooms and good Library.
- The hospital part is the highlight. It has a great patient inflow. And has almost all the advanced instruments needed for diagnosis and treatment including CBCT....
- The General Mission Hospital within the college campus adds more value to our academic and clinical practice. It's is very useful for 3 Rd year students who has GENERAL SURGERY and GENERAL MEDICINE is their 3rd year curriculum.
Dislikes
- Hostel standards are poor and food quality is not upto the mark
- There's no extra curricular activities like sports or culturals and there's no playground too.
- Every year the book/material fees is compulsory. We are not allowed to buy the books or materials on our own
- The book/material fee and the hostel fee is so high.
Remarks :
The college is located in the heart of Madurai city. It is an advantage for other district students since the transportation is easy. The main advantage of the college is the patient inflow. It has an excellent patient inflow. The college campus also has a general hospital (Christian Mission Hospital) which gives us great exposure to general medicine and surgery. Excellent clinical practice is given. Since the treatment cost is so affordable various cases are given to students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Excellent academics. The staff are friendly and the faculty members are very experienced in their field. We will be prepared well and good for the university exam which commences once a year at DR MGR UNIVERSITY. Both the Theory part and the practical part are given importance equally.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently studying in 3rd year bds. To my knowledge, other college students cannot do internships in our college. Once we finish our final year with passing marks we must do an internship for one year in our college itself.
Placement Experience :
After finishing our final year. We must do one year of internship in the college itself. It is a compulsory procedure. This internship is a non-paying internship, i.e. no stipend is given. We can learn a lot and get as much clinical experience and exposure during this period.
Campus Life :
The academic life is excellent but there are no extracurricular activities. There are neither any sports activities nor cultural events. The campus doesn't have a playground either. This part of the college is a bit bitter. And coming to the hostel, it's another big blow. The hostel fee for both boys and girls is Rs.125000, but the hostel standards are not up to the mark. If any complaint is raised it takes months to get resolved especially in the boys' hostel. The food is not also up to the mark.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
