Remarks :
There are no such rounds for admissions in Sona College, You can apply through counselling or else by management for AI & DS you need at least a cutoff of more than 170. You can easily apply through counselling for Sona College or else by management but a donation fee needs to be paid. Infrastructure is one major point that attracts me here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course for building a good career in IT field The faculties are very well educated and have experience in teaching and practical knowledge You have 3 CIE tests which is your internal exam which will each subject is conducted for the mark of 50 you need to score 25 for getting a pass If you are a first graduate you will get a scholarship for that and you can get BC/ MBC scholarship
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have no internship offered 7th sem you have to do a mini project that will have 3 reviews you need to finish the project before the final review 8 Then sem you need to do a major project which has the same steps as the mini project and you also need to publish a journal paper for your project
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria that the company set is a minimum of 60% in 12th and no backlogs The highest offer is 21lack per annum average would be 3-4 lacks More than 70 % got placed in a company Job is my plan after getting this degree
Campus Life :
Every sem there will be symposium and every 1 year there will be a festival called KRIVAS and there will be more clubs in which they conducts events Books will be easily available at library you can lend up to 6 books at a time and you need to return it with in the due date NCC , NSS, YRC, EDC, Build club , Tamil Mandram etc clubs will be available Hostel food will have a poor taste and for per year hostel fees would be 72000

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.

Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
