- Campus life is awesome, our mess runs from 7 AM to 2 AM in the night, the food is awesome and ranges in variety. We have plenty of shops and cafes and food courts in the campus
- Hostels are the best things here, very clean and organised, rooms are spacious. Laundry and press service is on time
Dislikes
- I don’t like that we have to take a breathalyser test almost every evening when returning to campus, it is very annoying and sometimes there is a huge line at the gate because of this checking
- The main gate is exactly 1 KM away from the nearest hostel, hence walking is the biggest thing i dislike about this campus especially in summers
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college were that it had a very well-balanced college life and studies, we could choose our own courses upto an extent, the hostel is mandatory here and I wanted to experience it at least once which was the best decision I made. The admission process is standardised, first, I had to take the college exam called SNUSAT, and after qualifying in I was selected for an interview and after completing that I was mailed with the acceptance letter. I was preparing for IPMAT at that time so the syllabi was pretty much identical hence I didn’t have to study separately for it
Course Curriculum Overview :
BMS is a new course and is of 4 years, unlike many other degrees which are of 3 years duration. The demand for a 4-year degree is higher + the courses taught are highly useful. The exams difficulty level is so-so, most of our exams are open book exams and if our factual knowledge and thinking are accurate, we can easily score high The fee hike has made this course not worth it, i paid around 9 lakh for it but now BMS costs 24 lakh + which is not worth it in my opinion
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted to sit outside of placements but there are plenty of companies which are the major hiring partners like HCL, Google, ITC etc. Quite a few startups pick up students as well so there is a chance to learn there
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for my course, not all the students sit for placement in an undergraduate degree hence the chances of you getting a job is quite high, the qualification bar to sit in campus placement is low so you need not worry about not getting placed because of your CGPA, the highest package for our course was 16 lakh, the average being 6-6.5 lakhs and the lowest was around 3 I guess
Campus Life :
A lot of fests happen in our college, almost every festival of every religion is celebrated hence you will not find the campus dull in any season, a lot of sports leagues are organised every month. Clubs range from astronomy to taking care of dogs on campus hence there is something for everyone

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
