- I love the reading room facility which is equipped with AC and washroom and drinking water and it is open 24/7
- The classrooms are very aesthetically pleasing and it has AC the projector is very good quality adequate lighting in the lecture hall
Dislikes
- The food around the campus is not that good but we can always order food online
- There is slighte waterlogging issue during rainy season
Remarks :
The college has a very high bed number which decides the influx of the patients. This is important for good exposure to different kinds of cases that we can see and learn. The hospital has a super speciality block where the doctors are highly qualified most of them have completed new super speciality and are specialists in their fields like cardiology nephrology etc. The clinics are very interesting as we get to see a new case every, and can even get a very rare case. The students are allowed to work in the casualty to get more exposure and to learn various skills like sw measuring the random blood sugar levels The admission process is via neet examination eligibility is PCB with a minimum of 75% in board examinations. The cut-off for my batch in the India quota was 520. The cutoff for state quota in my batch was 499. The counselling is done online for Aiq and the state quota is done by DTE Goa
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is a big shortage of doctors in India as per the population of our country and all the students that take this field want to be good healers and be able to help people. The faculty here are highly qualified and they teach via methods like lectures, tutorials small group discussions etc. The exams are almost timely with one term examination which is counted as internals one prelim and one University examination which is required to pass for the next year. Never had a few hikes. The cost to studies approximately 2.5 lakhs for the whole 5 and half years many economically backward students can apply for a loan that they can be off during internship when they get their stipend
Internships Opportunities :
People are posted at different health centres and different departments like or tho medicine radiology urban health centres rural health centres this helps them to get an understanding of the patients and how to take history and try to diagnose various kinds of cases that are available in the villages and the casualty as well
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for getting an internship is to pass the MBBS degree then all students are posted in different departments urban health centres rural health centres this has a stipend of about 20000 to 30000 rupees. Generally, people do their PG after doing MBBS and then you can earn about 80000 to 3 lakh rupees depending upon your sector like government or private or the speciality you've chosen
Campus Life :
The annual cultural face that is conducted is called Lexus it is generally held in December Goa Medical College organisation medical conference called Ghumicon which is a Pan India conference in which UGss and PGs both participate. Almost all reference books that are needed for the whole wife and a half years of your degree are available in the library for undergraduate as well as post-graduates There are multiple cultural groups like dance clubs, music clubs comedy clubs etc and also sports clubs organisation the annual intersems which is our sports event. The boy's in the girls' hostel are separate multiple options are available like single occupancy and multiple occupancy the mess is included. Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because the course covers all the aspect of commerce field . The teaching method and quality is also very good . We have smartboard in every classroom . All the professors use smartboard to teach . We have 3 isa in which 1st one is compulsorly and in 2nd and 3rd isa we get improvement chance which helps us to score better in term exam as the marks of isa are added in term exam .

At the end of the 3rd year Campus placement starts and I would like to tell that many 4-5 star hotel come to campus for placements Like TAJ , Hyatt , many airports companies Lowest package was around 2.5L annually and highest was around 6-7L per annum

Placements and internships are good there are two internship seasons named as PS1 and PS2 which is based on our curriculum. During the past 2 years the placements have not been that great because of the ongoing recession. But still companies are coming with less packages and students are getting placed but frequency is less. My plan after the degree is to get some job experience and then I will try to go pursue MBA.

Great ! You can get it easily in your preferred city/country. There are many hotels which are linked to iihm so interships and placements are easily available in your preference. Good fot that reason.

Faculty are very experienced and distinguished personalities they are very knowledgeable in their fields. The course here is very tough. Scholarship is available in 2 channels 1st is merit scholarship, the 2nd is merit cum need scholarship.

On campus placements are offered every year. The highest package last year was around 60 lakh while the lowest was 8lpa. Out of all the students only one student wasn't placed which gives us almost 100% placement rate. Almost all top companies visit our college including Google, Amazon, Facebook etc.

Placements are excellent. Top companies have hired freshers from here . My branch CSE has 100% placement rate and overall all branches have 99% placement rate . Usually students are offered on campus placements so there is no need to go for off campus opportunities
