Remarks :
There is no prior interview or entrance exam for joining in Knowledge Institute of Technology. Getting an admission to our college through government quota or management quota. For government quota requires a 160+ cutoff to get any of the departments in our department for the OBC category. For MBC, SC and ST categories need a 140-160 cutoff to get a seat through counselling. Before getting an admission contact the admission cell or visit the college, our college faculty will guide you through further process for counselling. In the Salem region, KIOT provides better placement, so good choice to select this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are highly skilled and trained in the domain. Every 3 months faculty will get trained in recent technologies. The course syllabus was framed according to industrial expectations. Teaching curriculum in both theoretical as well practical classes. Each of the 5 students can allocate a faculty as a mentor, the mentor will guide them in project work, academic activities placement activities etc. Scholarship will be provided for students who got admission through counselling, separate faculty will take responsibility for scholarship activities.
Internships Opportunities :
Microsoft, Cisco, Quest Global, and Virtusa are the leading companies that provide internships for students. Through national-level contests, students got internships with stipends in Quest Global and Virtusa Corporation. During the internship provided tasks in the form of developing web applications etc.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides excellent placement in the Salem region. For the 2024 batch, 95% of students got placement in good companies. The highest package was 12.5 LPA. Providing good training to get placed in good companies. Aspire Systems, Explore Solutions, Virtusa, Tessolve Semiconductors etc. are the companies that recruit students. Most companies will expect 60% and above in 10th, 12th or diploma and UG.
Campus Life :
Knowledge Institute of Technology has good infrastructure and a campus surrounded by a greenish environment. Academic laboratories contain high-specification systems. The central library is there in the campus. Digital access to E-books is also provided for all students. The class room contains sufficient space and provides a good environment to study. And also encourages sports activities, every week having sports hours and yoga classes for students. Providing opportunities for students to participate in zonal level, district level, and state level sports competitions. Rotaract club and NSS are clubs involved in social activities. Hostels are neat and clean. Foods are hygienic. Separate hostel for boys and girls. The food court is available inside the campus.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
