One of the major factors that i considered before getting into DCE were the reviews that i got from my family friends and cousins. The admission process was smooth and easy for me as I met all the criteria, also before admissions, I had a simple and friendly interview with the academic dean and admissions in charge of the college where they asked about my experience with IT as I had a strong background of programing since my school. There were no GDs or anything for the admission.
I chose B.Tech in CSE and the faculty are well educated and fully qualified as per my understanding. The course and Curriculum are pretty basic as DCE was affiliated with MDU Rohtak, but now the curriculum is well-planned and relevant as the college is now affiliated with Gurugram University. I didn't get any scholarship but I got some relaxation in fees as my elder brother was in the same college. The college is academically oriented, there are no extracurricular activities in the college, but the college frequently organizes technical fests, sports fests, and other events.
We do have student chapters in our college, Internships are not offered by the college, we have to find internships ourselves. I have worked with companies like Leafy wheels Pvt. Ltd., Shree Morvi Landscapes pvt. Ltd. and Underdogs-Clothing as a Full stack Web developer.
Companies do come in the campus for hiring but the competition is very high, one needs to be well prepared and most of the preparations are to be done by oneself. We do get a lot of updates regarding jobs from our TPO, also companies come and hire from the college every year. One needs to utilize every opportunity that one gets. On-campus placements are fine but are difficult to crack, going off-campus will help a lot.
Don't expect anything fancy as you see in Karan Johar's movies. The college is completely academics oriented and bunking classes is out of the question. DCE provides enough academic opportunities, and NSS camps are also organized every year, they are fun. Sports and Tech fests are also organized mainly during March and April, Freshers in mostly organized during September and November. College occasionally organizes Youth Fest.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
