College life of an NCC cadet
Likes
- The college infrastructure is quite good. It is very modern and stylish. It looks so good on cameras too. The teachers are so friendly and so are the other faculty members.
Dislikes
- The college canteen is quite small and the students are more. So sometimes it gets so difficult even to get a sit and have our lunch. And the classrooms can be really hot and humid. And as our college does not provide a generator to help us survive the humid weather.
Remarks :
The good thing about my college is that it's open to all types of people with different courses and options for many clubs and other curriculum activities. It does not only focus on studies or books but it also focuses on world activities. Some of the disadvantages are that due to too many students, some when some activities take place not every gets the chance to participate or initiate in it. The admission process does take some time because of the queue but it's a one-day process and does not take long. We take Nagaland board exam, and tbh it's not very tough if you study but it's not easy too. It takes both your time and concentration to get good marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in Political Sciences and I love how the words were simple and only facts. And you got more marks writing in points, and I liked writing in points. So it was a win-win for me. Most of our faculty members were well educated and had etiquette about their professional and personal lives. Their teaching methods were quite impressive too, as they not only focused on teaching but making sure that the students were learning. The exams take place every 3-4 months and tbh it does not increase the level of the exam but it simply depends on what the other person finds interesting.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet, but I searching for the opportunity. With my college degree, I can get an internship in marketing services, media teams, collaborating agencies, and many other companies. As I also took NCC during my college and has certificates with full "A" Grade.
Placement Experience :
For now I'm taking computer class and after this I'm going for armed force. I also run a small business online to support my basic needs so that I don't have to fully depened on my parents salary alone. We don't come from rich family, and sometimes it's very hard to provide for all the siblings. So just trying my best to be able to be of their help.
Campus Life :
We have college fests like Pow-wow which takes place every 2 years and people from different colleges and states come too. It's like a carnival but mostly it's for the youth. We have competitions like cosplay, dancing, singing, and all other kinds. There are many options for books in the library with different interests and genres. It also has books for different courses which is very useful for the students. The clubs are another amazing thing about the college. You get to explore and learn so much just by joining the club. These clubs are not just an organization but it's a family. The emotions and memories that we share are irreplaceable.

The eligibility criteria for placement is being the gold medalist of your department. There have been very few recruiters over the past few years and less in the coming years. There are mo packages information so far as it is strictly confidential. Campus placements are not offered. Here in this College placements and job opportunities are very less than compared to other NIT colleges nowadays placements are very scarcity what are the placements offered by the company they are taking the placement so it is not sufficient to us and at coming to my time the placements are where hard to get a placement in an big company so I am trying hard forgetting and placement or in case I didn't get any placement I will write gate examination and I will go to my mtech for resides for IIT colleges.
