I always wanted to be a law student and many of family of my family members had taken this path so I chose to do the same. We faced a test called LSAT(Law School Admission Test). People who passed this test based on percentile got a letter for admission from the college.
The grades for a particular semester are based on mid-term and end-term. Mid term consists of various tests which could include presentation, research paper, class test along with class performance. The Midterm consists of 50 marks. The end term comprises a written test which is of 50 marks. The duration for this test is 3 hours
I haven't asked for any internships from the college but I have been interning through connections I have interned under lawyer Mr Zaffar Siddique in High Court, Uttarakhand I have also interned under Lawyer Mr Amit Sharma, district court Dehradun.
To be eligible for placements you need to be a part of this college irrespective of your year. Many companies recruit internships some of which are tri legal and many other first-tier companies along with different NGOs. Paid internships are very less likely to be offered to Student in the first and second year but from the third year, students do find paid internships. I have just entered the third year so I will be able to get a brief idea for the same. It has been recorded that 100 percent of the students get a placement offer. My plan after taking the degree is to give exam for judiciary and be a judge.
It is a very big campus with people from all over India. There are some foreign students too. The sports facility is very good in Jindal. They have a football field, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, a full-fledged cricket field, indoor badminton court, and a swimming pool and they are creating a new complex which is a multisport complex. We have a lot of clubs which a student can join for example, drama society, music society, sports society and etc. Food is provided by Sodexo and the quality of the food is fairly good as compared to other colleges. The library is packed with different genres and u can even access e-books if you don't find a physical copy for the same. The college conducts a 3-day fest called Biswal which takes place in September where different artists from India come to perform and students enjoy it a lot.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.

Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company.
