I came to know about this college through word of mouth. I was preparing for the NID-DAT exam in a coaching center, and my friends talked about Anant National University, its merits, and how it was a promising environment to nurture my design journey. The institution is relatively new as compared to other institutes thus the infrastructure is still being set up but it also allows the institute to incorporate new curriculums, new departments, and other stuff which I found to be very interesting. Finding such an environment in a higher education institute specifically in India is extremely rare. The Co-Ed hostels are also quite wonderful, the university has people from all over India and other parts of the world and everyone's very accepting and we are taken good care of. The admission accepted UCEED scores, they also had their own entrance exams and interviews. I was already preparing for NID so that benefited me a lot overall, it was an aptitude-type questions-focused paper.
I have always been interested in creative work, thus I wanted to pursue a career which I would truly enjoy which turned out to be design for me. I joined the college to pursue interaction design, the first year of the course is commonly known as the foundation year across institutes where we were taught basics of design, the design principles, color theory etc. Our curriculum for the first two semesters had a very multidisciplinary curriculum where we were introduced to different department focused curriculums, from second year onwards we have to pick our specialization. The examinations and assessments were mostly conducted in the form of projects, juries and assignments. The fees for both the hostel and the academics increases by 10% every year, the course itself is very material heavy thus a lot of your monthly budget would be spent on the materials itself. The university does offer Scholarships and Financial assistance however, there are quite a lot of students who opt for them.
I am looking for internships right now but I am currently focused on building my skillset first, however my peers have been freelancing a lot. The field promotes freelancing more than interning, they're working on animation projects, UIUX design, etc. Most of these jobs tend to come from private hiring, instead of from big companies since we are students, however, they compensate us well.
Most of our design seniors have been placed well in companies like Accenture, TCS, etc. Considering how diverse the fields are most of the graduates are doing well. Most students start doing freelance jobs from 3rd year onwards and they're doing well. The placement stats are available on the website itself. I would prefer a campus placement job after I finish my degree or I might consider pursuing a master's degree.
The campus life is quite vibrant, we have multiple celebrations going on every month both small and big. Since the university is based out of Ahmedabad, Navratri is wonderful. We have a monthly edition of Daawat-e-Anant where we introduce the campus students to different cuisines from lesser-known parts of the country, cooked by the students and for the students. There are lots of clubs and sports facilities on the campus which are available, frisbee being one of the most well-known sports on the campus. The university provides funding and support for any clubs which one would like to learn, and would also be very much willing to support one financially via on-campus jobs. Overall, the university doesn't have a long history or culture of massive fests every year since it's relatively new, however living on campus is very pleasant.
The food quality is relatively better than other colleges, overall there's still room for improvement. The monthly menus are revised with the presence of student representatives. The hostels are subject to vacancy, we have 3 hostels right now, 2 being inside the campus and the third being right across the road. There's also a YourSpace PG at walking distance from the college which lots of students opt for. There is a 4th hostel building which will be completed within a month, there is also a faculty residence/guest house being constructed.
The placements for M. Pharmacy is 90% lj ip is the best college in the Ahmedabad for pharmacy, commerce, class room etc the placements is too good in lok jagruti institute of pharmacy the placements for commerce is also good
They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course
Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.
No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.
Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.
Good placements after masters and bachelor’s the support is full from the institution and the companies come to collage and interview us and the placement are 90% and above with the good package expecting
All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.
Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.
I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
