The Hornby Scholarships were established by the Hornby Educational Trust so that after receiving the scholarship funds, the teachers who instruct pupils in colleges or schools will be able to continue their education. English language teachers will be the only ones eligible for this scholarship. The ELT University will allow eligible teachers to continue their education there.
