They have to enroll for the full-time program as the distance education or online programmes students will not be considered while selecting the deserving candidates for this scholarship. Steps to apply for the Saltire Scholarships

Candidates can apply for this scholarship to support their study expenses in the university where they have enrolled in. To apply for this scholarship, candidates have to submit 3 essays of 250 words each. These essay should clearly and briefly answer the questions given below:

1. Discuss your experience and skills you gained in communication and team-work.
2. Give a valid reason for choosing that specific course and why you want to study in Scotland?
3. How will the amount provided by the Saltire scholarship benefit you and how can you promote Scotland for higher studies.

Saltire Scholarships Selection Procedure

The factors that will be taken into consideration while selecting the candidates includes:

• The three essays submitted by the candidates while applying for the scholarship will be thoroughly evaluated.
• The application and documents submitted by the candidates will be checked properly.
• Candidates have to show their fullenergy while answering the questions that really get to the hearts of the panel of judges who are providing the scholarship.
• The scholarship will also be provided on the basis of the academic performance and the leadership qualities of the candidates.

The selected candidates will receive a notification from the university where they have applied. The applicants have to accept this notification within 4 weeks and if they fail to do so, the scholarship will be withdrawn from them.

Hence, this scholarship will be provided to the students who want to enroll for the full-time program in post-graduation in the Scottish universities. The selected candidates will be awarded the amount of GBP 8000 (INR 8,44,053) and they can use this amount to support the expenses of their higher education in the Scottish universities.
