For admission to the first year of B.Tech. candidates must have passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with compulsory subjects and one of the optional subjects as given in below table and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the below subjects taken together OR passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category)

Anyone of the following Subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject
