Vijaybhoomi University Scholarships

Vijaybhoomi University provides financial support in the form of scholarships for the well deserved students, on a merit-cum-need basis. Scholarships are listed below:

Scholarship for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): This scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee and the hostel fee. A registration fee of INR 50,000 will be charged. 

The following requirements must be followed to qualify for an EWS scholarship:

  • The family income must be less than INR 8 Lakhs annually to be eligible for EWS.
  • The candidate must be a permanent resident in Maharashtra.
  • The candidate must have gone through the VU selection process, obtained the necessary scores for the EWS scholarships, been recommended by the ASP panel, and given the Dean's approval.
  • For the grant of a scholarship, a candidate must secure the prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the Academic Council
  • All Students granted scholarships will be required to maintain a CGPA of 7.00 every academic year.
  • All students awarded such a scholarship will be required to work for at least 200 hours every year in a function assigned by the University.

Defence Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded on a first cum first basis to wards of parents who are employed by the Defence Services i.e. Army, Airforce, and the Navy.
