Using an interdisciplinary approach to learning, Saint Mary's University's Department of Environmental Science provides a demanding undergraduate program in environmental science. Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make meaningful academic contributions toward a sustainable future. Future environmental planning and conservation are aided by the scientific concepts and techniques applied in environmental science. It combines the theory required to manage and safeguard environmental systems with the science underlying them.
