Each PTE Academic has 20 question types. MCQs are scored as either right or wrong. The duration fot PTE academic is for 2 hours 20 minutes. You must know that PTE Academic online is not currently accepted for visa applications. 

PTE Core

PTE core is the faster, simpler, and fairer general English test. Pearson PTE core is designed for candidates who are applying for Canadian migration, citizenship, and work visas. The fee for PTE core is INR 17,000. You will get your PTE score report within 48 hours of the test. You get your results for PTE core within 2 days. The test format of PTE core is the same as the academic exam, but the scoring pattern is calculated on the CLB level. PTE for UK Visa

If you are planning to move to UK, you must consider taking PTE UKVI tests. There are in total 4 different types of PTE tests for UK Student Visa process. PTE Registration Process

To register for PTE test, candidates must be at least 18 years old. If a candidate is under 18, they must provide their parent's consent form while in registration. Candidates must have a valid Indian passport as their ID while completing PTE Registration process. A valid ID is required to enter PTE Test Centre. For Indian students, Pearson PTE requirements include a passport, without which the test cannot be taken. PTE score chart is obtained within 2 working days. Candidates must complete PTE academic test booking to get their preferred test centers.

PTE Eligibility

The candidate's PTE eligibility requirements vary according to the exam type they are taking. To prove their identity, candidates must also bring a valid passport or government-issued ID to the exam. The following general eligibility criteria apply to each type of Pearson PTE exam:

• Regarding education or prior work experience, there are no requirements.

PTE Exam Fees

The candidate might fail to book the test before 48 hours of your preferred exam dates for PTE. In that case, PTE Booking test will have a Pearson PTE Late Booking Fee.

PTE Cancellation Fees

You can begin your PTE preparation at home with the help of online study materials. For cancellation of an appointment, candidates can follow the lookup for this:

• The candidates will receive a notification via email about the suspension
• Candidates will receive a refund automatically if paid by credit or debit card
• In case the candidate has used a Pearson PTE voucher code during the appointment will be able to book an alternative appointment by availing of the same code during the next appointment
• Full refund if they cancel before 14 days of their booked PTE test date
• If they cancel in less than 14 but before 7 days, they will receive a 50% refund
• There will be no refund if the cancellation is done less than 7 days before the booked test date

PTE Rescheduling Fees

Candidates are required to log in to their accounts to reschedule their appointment and can do so up to 14 days before their scheduled PTE test date. Rescheduling can be done for free if completed before the 14-day deadline, or for a fee of 50% of the initial payment if rescheduled between 13 and 18 days. If the exam is missed, no refund will be provided. It is important to note that the rescheduling policy does not cover the test date. Rescheduling PTE test date before 7 days of the booked date applies a 25% extra fee.
