PTE result score card now include a total score of 10 to 90 based on the performance of the task in the test, rather than the average score for each communication. The current PTE score report list includes new personalized skills that use performance tests to provide specific recommendations for future English language learning.

• Speaking and Writing - This consists of seven questions that test candidates' speaking and writing skills and should take an hour for the exam.
• Reading - This section consists of five different questions that measure English reading skills.
• Listening Comprehension - There are eight questions to test your listening comprehension.
• The composite PTE score is calculated based on the performance of each task in the test.

Each test has between 52 and 64 tasks, including 20 types of tasks, and it is these tasks, not the average of the four communications, that make up the total score.
