Pearson PLC Group has introduced PTE online test from home for achieveing better PTE band scores. PTE available dates and PTE exam slot booking can also be attempted for PTE home-based test. PTE home test can be applied and registered by making a profile on MyPTE account online web page. PTE at home can be scheduled 24 hours in advance. PTE at-home exams have the below-mentioned criteria:
- Private and quiet environment
- A reliable computer with a webcam
- Headset wired or wireless
- Reliable internet connection
- System meeting requirements leveled by Pearson PTE
PTE Exam Cancellation and Refund
PTE exam date booking can be cancelled by the candidates and a refund can be claimed 14 days prior to the commencement of exams. It is done by the candidates when they do not meet the PTE exam eligibility. The processes of cancellation and rescheduling of PTE exam dates and PTE exam centers can be carried out on the official website. Canceling and claiming a refund 14 days prior to the chosen PTE Pearson Exam date will allow candidates to claim a complete refund. However, cancellation of PTE exam dates post 14 days and before 7 days will cost candidates 50% of the overall PTE paper fee refund. Test-takers canceling exams in less than 7 days will not receive a refund for the same.
PTE Exam Accommodation and Special Arrangements
Candidates with disabilities can request special arrangements at the PTE test center. However, these can be claimed only upon prior approval and provision of legitimate documents against the disability. Arrangements that are provided for PTE Reading, Writing, Listeing and Speaking tests are:
