A course-based M.Eng. in Engineering Science program is available at Laurentian's Bharti School of Engineering. It covers mining engineering, robotics, automation, and advanced mining technologies, among other things.
The program, an interdisciplinary one that accepts students with degrees in science or engineering, was created in consultation with industry. It is available to recent graduates as well as seasoned engineers who want to pursue a graduate degree on a full- or part-time basis.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

A bachelor's degree in engineering with a B standing (70%) in mining, mineral processing, metallurgical, civil, mechanical, chemical, or other suitable engineering fields is typically required for admission to an M.Eng. or M.A.Sc. program.
Applicants for admission to the M.A.Sc. program must hold an Honors B.Sc. in chemistry, geology, physics, or a related field. However, some qualifying courses from the undergraduate engineering curriculum may need to be successfully completed before such candidates can be admitted to this program.
