The four-year Bachelor of Arts program's history major is meant to give students a wide foundation in the subject. Additionally, a wide range of subjects, including Indigenous history, public history, and film and history, will be available for study to the students. The historical research and analysis techniques, as well as historical reasoning, that set history apart as a field of study within the Humanities and Social Sciences, will be understood by the students. In addition to the inherent value of studying history, a bachelor's degree in history equips students for careers in public administration, teaching, law, archival studies, international affairs, and journalism, as well as graduate study in history.
