• The most extensive French program available is ours, which includes courses in literature, culture, applied linguistics, and the civilization of the Francophone world (with a focus on France and Canada, primarily on Acadia and Québec) in addition to practically oriented language instruction at all levels.
  • In a degree program consisting of 20.0 units, French can be taken as an honors major, a major or combined major, a minor, a concentration, or an elective at any level that is compatible with advanced standing and/or with permission from the Modern Languages Department.
