Graduate students can pursue contemporary art production through theoretical and practical scholarship through the MFA Art program. Students work with faculty members who are active artists and scholars in an open studio setting, encompassing material, critical, and conceptual investigations. Support is given to indigenous knowledge and cultural viewpoints, and the Art Program's extensive Visiting Speakers program enhances the MFA experience by offering weekly discussion opportunities with a variety of working artists, architects, curators, critics, and historians. The program provides students with exceptional chances for exhibition and discussion within a thriving cultural community, supported by nationally recognized galleries and arts organizations, and equipped with first-rate studios and technical facilities.
