Research methods and data analysis in the psychological sciences are taught in both the M.Sc. and M.A. in Psychology programs. Both programs aim to develop excellent researchers and get students ready for Ph.D. programs in psychology and related fields. The programs' primary distinction is their areas of emphasis. Students in the M.A. Psychology program concentrate on social and humanistic approaches to psychology, while those in the M.Sc. Psychology program concentrate on evolutionary and mechanistic approaches.
