Civil Engineering course at UNBC offers an integrated approach to engineering as well as sustainability. The faculty teaches the students not only the intramural and structural designs, but also the impact of environmental impact in developing a modern structure. A proper material lab is provided to the students to gain practical knowledge. 
The course comprises 8 semesters to complete 153 credit hours. The course is taught in different methods like group learning and team teaching. In the next few decades, the civil engineering jobs will reach a boom in British Columbia.
