Financial Planning Services Graduate Certificate at Conestoga College is a 1 year program. You must complete two language electives (in one language) to graduate with this program. The program deals with the concepts of Client Communication, Insurance Fundamentals, Financial Planning Essentials and Entrepreneurship for Financial Planners. You will get to learn the skills of challenging the Financial Planning Standards Council Level 1 and Level 2 Examinations (for CFP Professionals). You will learn optional licensing opportunities with industry regulators such as the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, the Mutual Fund Dealer Association (MFDA) and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) for insurance licensing purposes.
