Alpha Educational Society manages Alpha Arts and Science College (AASC). It is a private college which is affiliated to the University of Madras and is accredited by NAAC.
College offers 9 UG programs and 2 PG programs. It is well equipped with very good infrastructure to facilitate effective teaching methodology. All the UG courses are offered for a duration of 3 years and is divided into 6 semesters i.e., 2 semesters in each year.

Within the first 15 spots, the Departments of Tamil, Hindi, French, BT, and ISM have received 9 University ranks totally. C. Nivetha from the Department of Business Administration and R. Meena from the Department of Computer Science- Shift II, have received the University’s Overall First Rank in the last academic year. The faculty at the college is very supportive and have vast experience in their respective fields.

Read Full ReviewI chose commerce since I have an interest in commercial field. So I have completed my degree (B.com) in alpha with proper guidance and knowledge. The exams conducted by the college are very useful for the students to study upto date till the portions which have been completed.
There are many opportunities in terms of placement. Many good companies may recruit the best-performed students. They will offer a good yearly package for the students and will conduct a period of training for the job.
