Belda College provides bachelor's degree programmes in the arts, sciences, business, computer applications, and vocational areas.

Eligibility

• A candidate who has passed in 10+2 in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks would be qualifying all the conditions for admission to these programmes. 
• Candidates with a 50 percent grade in the subject they applied for (but an overall grade of less than 45 percent) are also eligible.
• Nutrition Hons. candidates are eligible. If they have Biology or Nutrition in combination with Chemistry at the high school level.

Selection Criteria

The selection criteria involved in the selection of UG candidates at Belda College, West Bengal is counselling by the concerned members of the college authority and admission administration cell. The Merit Position is determined using the marks achieved in the relevant subject plus 10% of the best five subjects' scores.

Belda College UG Application Process

• Candidates can fill out the application form online by going to the institute's website.
• For UG courses, only online application forms are permitted (General and Hons.).
• For an application to be valid, candidates must fill out all of the required details in the application form. 
• The information provided in the application form must be accurate and pertain only to the applicant (details such as phone number, address etc.).
• Only bank challans can be used to pay the application cost. For UG courses, the fee per topic is Rs.150/-.
• Candidates must also provide scanned copies of their passport-size photo, high school/eligible board mark sheet, and caste certificate, if applicable.

Belda College PG Admission Criteria 2024

Belda College provides postgraduate programmes in the arts and sciences on a regular schedule. Specializations in Bengali and English are available in the MA programme. Mathematics and physics are among the subjects covered in the M.Sc. curriculum. The total number of students enrolled in Arts courses is 110. (55 per subject). Each M.Sc. specialisation provided by the institute has 20 seats available.

• The candidates would have to appear for an entrance examination to be considered for admission in PG programmes at Belda College.

Belda College PG Application Process

• On the specified days, aspirants can obtain the application form from the institution's website.
• The application form should have all of the required information filled in correctly.
• All related documentation should be attested to the photocopies of the completed application form.
• The fee of the application form is Rs.400/-, which can be paid in cash when the form is submitted offline. 
• The application cost can also be paid by demand draft. The demand draft must be made payable to "Belda Collge" in Belda.
• For the purpose of the entrance exam, candidates will be given admit cards.
• Applicants who achieve within the cut-off percentages are qualified for open-category counselling.
