Kaliyaganj college started in 1968 to provide higher education to the students in the rural region of Uttar Dinajpur. Since then, the college has expanded its departments and now it has more than 5000 students studying there. At present, the college is also offering postgraduate courses in five subjects and M.Com in Commerce with farm management. The college also offers vocational courses in Home Science and Agriculture.
