Eligibility Criteria For PhD Admission

To be eligible for admission, the candidates must have:-

• A Master’s or equivalent in relevant/allied subjects with 55% marks or grade ‘B’ on the UGC 7-point scale; foreign degrees must be accredited.
• All required qualifications, including NET/SET/M. Phil must be completed by the application deadline.
• 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates and those with Master’s degrees before September 19, 1991.

Documents Required For PhD Admission

• Age Verification Documents: Birth Certificate/Admit Card of Madhyamik Parikha (MP)/10th or equivalent examination.
• Academic Mark Sheets: Mark sheets of Madhyamik Parikha (MP)/10th, Higher Secondary, Under Graduate, and Post Graduate Degree/equivalent examinations.
• Identity and Signature: Recent coloured passport-size photograph and signature.
• Reserved Category Certificates: Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS, if applicable.
• NET/SET/SLET/GATE/JRF/M.Phil. Certificates: Relevant certificates, if any.
• Additional Documents: No Objection Certificate from Employer (if applicable), M.Phil. Mark sheet (if applicable), and full marks and obtained marks in different exams.
