Life at K.L college Amravati

What I Liked

Campus and the freedom we have in the college .
Faculty , teachers are very understanding and cool with students .

What I didn’t like

Limited placement options and no placement cell
There are no clubs available , not even any social groups .

Placement Experience:

For placements, many companies participate ex. TCS , Wipro , Infotech etc . Some brands collaborate with colleges and some startups also provide opportunities for students to do internships . Getting a job through campus placement will be easy but packages are only of 4 to 6 lac per annum. The lowest package goes up to 3 lac and the highest is of 6 lacs.

Remarks:

I chose this college as it was affordable and placement was good, also the faculty was really good. They take direct admission of students having more than 45% in 12th with science branch. There are no admission tests but from 2024 there will be a common entrance test to get admission into BBA, BCA and integrated courses.

The KL College Review

What I Liked

The teachers and the support staff is very supportive.
The library and the computers are very helpful in studies.

What I didn’t like

The social life of the students is very dull. There should be more events.
The syllabus curriculum is bit old fashioned.

Placement Experience:

Students do get placed every year in the campus round, and big companies like TCS, and Wipro come to the college to choose the best of the students. Around 20 to 25% of the students get placed every year and the remaining students go for their higher education.

Remarks:

KL College is the best college for commerce education in Amravati and everybody knows that in the city. So while taking admission the college asks you about your 12th board exam performance and it should be a minimum of 50%. A quick personal interview takes place before getting confirmed admission.

MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

What I Liked

Campus is very clean and green with fresh environment
Infrastructure facilities are good having all the facilities like desk bench labs

What I didn’t like

There is no lift or escalators inside or outside college
College doesn't have much campus life compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Yes There are job opportunities my in college many placements are offered by many companies of India and well as foreign companies with average bcom package is 3 lakhs per annum but highest is 8 lakhs

Remarks:

No there is no test ,group discussion for addmission it is only on the basis of marks in 12th examination and I have chosen this college as it is very good in all the aspects and it is located near my house
