Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU), is a State University, located in Amravati, Maharashtra. It was formerly known as Amravati University. The institution has its jurisdiction over the Western Vidarbha region and is over 30 years old.
The institution was Re-Accredited in 2016 with Grade ‘A’ by the NAA. It is UGC approved and has ranked among the top Indian universities by NIRF in 2019.

SGBAU Admissions
SGBAU offers various courses at UG, PG, Diploma, and research levels programs. It also offers value-based education in the areas of Science, Engineering, Management, Arts, and Law.
Dates for admissions in 2021 shall be announced. Candidates have to visit the official website of the institute to apply. Submission of application forms can be done either online or offline. Admissions to UG, PG, and Research Programs are entrance-based.
- Admission to B. Tech programs is done on the basis of their performance in MHT CET or in JEE Main. The candidate’s 10+2 result with PCM is also taken into account.
- Students in M. Tech programs are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in GATE, followed by their performance in CAP Counselling. Scores in B.E. or B. Tech are also taken into account.
- Candidates in MBA and MCA courses are selected through MAH CET followed by CAP Counselling.
- M.A. and M. Com programs are merit-based. However, for certain specializations in M. Sc, the institute conducts course-specific entrance tests.
- Admissions to M. Ed and M. P. Ed courses are done through the CET exam conducted by DTE.
- Admission to LL. B, Integrated LL. B, and LL. M programs are done on the basis of scores in the MH CET Law entrance exam and in the previous qualifying examination.
- M. Phil and Ph. D admissions are conducted on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the Ph. D entrance Test (PET), followed by an interview. Online Ph. d Viva Voce Exam 2021 is to be conducted from 17 June 2021 to 10 October 2021.
- Candidates who have qualified in CSIR NET/ GATE/ JRF/ UGC NET/ SLET or any other equivalent entrance exam, are exempted from appearing in MPET.

The university placement cell offers good placements to its students. Rigorous training and placement drives are conducted to help students get placed in the biggest companies and jobs. Some of the top companies that frequently visit the campus are WIPRO, Infosys, TCS, HCL, Axis Bank, HDFC, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, Metro Cash, and Carry, Reliance Infocomm, LG Electronics, Muthoot Finance, KPIT Technologies, and many more.
The maximum average salary package offered as of records in 2019 is INR 9 lakhs, and the lowest average salary package is INR 1.8 lakhs. The median salary package is INR 2.2 lakhs. The university offers several internships and does its best to accommodate most students in good companies.
SGBAU: Scholarship
Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University provides scholarships to students who require them. Apart from government scholarships, the most applied scholarship by SGBAU is the Sant Gadge Baba Vidyadhan Yojana.
Sant Gadge Baba Vidyadhan Yojana is the scheme by the university to provide interest to economically weak students for the period of moratorium on educational loan taken from the Schedules or Nationalised Bank, under the educational loan scheme, to pursue their higher studies at college or university level, under the preview of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
The scheme is applicable for students enrolled in the university across all courses and faculties, with 60% and more aggregate marks in the immediately preceding year. The grant of the scheme will be available to eligible students only once.
The scheme is applicable to students with annual family income from all sources within the limit of INR 4.51 lakhs per annum. While applying for the scheme, students need to submit their family income proof signed by such public authority that is authorized by the State Government for the certification of their income status.
Other important scholarships offered by SGBAU are Shri Tryambak Ganpatrao Kavalkar Research Scholarship, Late Shri Shankarrao Govindrao Jog. And Smt. Parvatibai Shankarrao Jog Scholarship, Late Dilip B. Shingore Scholarship, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The college course curriculum not big but it's a average. Teaching faculty is also good ,regular lecture, presentation all good . I don't get any scholarship during education. Total fee is devide in 6 part .

No placement no internship. No placement no internship. College project mostly done by clg teacher and give money from student . Teacher sell the project. Yes I also by the project from college approx 1200 rs per project .
