St Ann’s College Programme Options and Fees

More than 60 programme variants are available across undergraduate, postgraduate and PG Diploma study. The amounts below cover the general quota. Some programmes charge higher fees for management quota seats.

Alongside its other science subjects, the college provides technology-focused B.Sc options in Computer Science, AI and Software Engineering. At the undergraduate level, BBA specialisations in Business Analytics and Fintech address current industry demand.

St Ann’s College Admission Routes and Steps

Selection follows merit and the Telangana admission framework for affiliated colleges. For the 2026-27 session, undergraduate admissions use TS DOST, short for Degree Online Services Telangana. MBA and MCA applicants are selected through TS ICET scores and counselling. Other postgraduate courses and PG Diplomas use graduation marks.

Applying for BA, B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA and B.Sc

Undergraduate applicants need a recognised board’s 10+2 qualification in a relevant stream, with at least 45% aggregate marks. TS DOST handles admission to these programmes.

1. Create a registration on TS DOST and include St Ann’s College for Women among your college preferences.
2. Take part in the DOST allotment rounds. Seats depend on Class 12 marks, the applicant’s category and available places.
3. After receiving an allotment, pay the fees and submit original documents at the college to secure admission.
4. If regular rounds do not result in an allotment, apply for a spot admission when vacant seats are available.

Applying for MBA and MCA

A graduation degree with 50% marks is required for MBA and MCA admission. The minimum is 45% for reserved categories. Selection takes place through TS ICET counselling using the entrance test score.

1. Take TS ICET and obtain a valid rank.
2. Enter the web counselling process and choose St Ann’s College as a preference.
3. Pay the required fees before the stated deadline to accept the allotted seat.

Applying for M.Com, M.Sc and PG Diplomas

For these programmes, selection depends on graduation merit. Applicants must have a degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% marks.

St Ann’s College Recruitment and Placement Results

The Placement and Career Counselling Cell manages campus recruitment. During 2025, it recorded an 85% placement rate, with over 307 students securing jobs on campus. Annual salary packages reached a maximum of INR 13 LPA and an average of INR 4.67 LPA, where LPA means lakh per annum.

Recruitment visits in 2025 involved more than 60 companies from IT services, financial services, consulting and business process outsourcing (BPO). Deloitte, Dell, Genpact, TCS and Muthoot Finance were among the top recruiters that year.

IT services and software development account for most roles taken by BCA and B.Sc Computer Science graduates. Banking, financial services and analytics are common destinations for B.Com and BBA students. Across Hyderabad, MBA graduates enter management trainee and business development positions.

St Ann’s College National Rankings

The college featured in NIRF’s Degree Colleges category in the 201-300 band in 2025, following a position in the 151-200 band in 2024. It is among the small number of women’s colleges in Telangana included in this national list.

NIRF evaluates degree colleges through teaching and learning resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and peer perception. The college’s NAAC A Grade supports its accreditation and outreach standing within this assessment.

St Ann’s College Campus Facilities and Student Life

Managed by St Ann’s Society, the purpose-built women’s campus occupies 4 acres at Santosh Nagar, Mehdipatnam, in western Hyderabad. Science, Commerce, Arts and Management departments have separate blocks. Dedicated centres serve ICT, research and women’s studies.

Students have access to a central library and classrooms equipped with ICT facilities. Laboratories cover Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Computer Science. Postgraduate and interdisciplinary work receives support from the Centre for Women’s Studies and the Centre of Excellence for Research. For recruitment, the Placement and Career Counselling Cell works with more than 60 companies each year.

As a day-scholar college, St Ann’s does not provide an on-campus hostel. Students moving to Hyderabad generally find private accommodation near Mehdipatnam, where public transport connections are available.

St Ann’s College Scholarship Options

Government and college scholarships help students with strong academic records or financial needs. For 2026-27, the Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) scheme supports students who combine academic merit with a need for financial assistance.
