What I Liked

I like the Campus and the infrastructure
The people around the Campus are friendly

What I didn’t like

The functions and programs are less to my expectations
The classrooms could be a bit advanced

Placement Experience:

We do have placement and internship available for the final year students in our college which offers decent payments and the internship is also provided for those students who fail to find on their own

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted for internship yet as am still in second year and i still have time for my internship programme since it should be done final year so i don't know much about the internships provided

Philos review

What I Liked

Some faculties are really nice and jovial and easy to approach
The campus is the best surrounded with beautiful plants and trees , amazing butterfly garden, magnificent library

What I didn’t like

No proper equipped rooms, some computer labs don't have enough computer's for everyone
Some teachers are very partial and biased

Placement Experience:

Our college starts it's placement and internship in the final year it also provides various skill development courses to the students are college provides us an opportunity to work with big companies like Amazon , Microsoft, Wipro , and many more. Average package must be 1- 2 lakhs per annum

Internships Opportunities:

My intership hasn't started yet so I can't say anything. But I have done a skill development course under Microsoft x interforte in digital Marketing it was an online course I was given a participation certificate many other options were provided

What I Liked

The college ambience is very good .Garden ,ground,trees and all are very satisfying
Canteen and honeybee cafe and cafeteria are providing good food

What I didn’t like

Sudden change in the management rules are making students feel bad
Delay of any circular about the holidays or any programs

Placement Experience:

The college is offering campus placements every year .many students have got job in campus placements only.many top companies are hiring students from the college who have good skills in the academics the highest salary package is about 10L per annum average is 3L per annum

Internships Opportunities:

Yes I have selected one internship program for a certificate.Our department is bringing many internships programs for the students in our college.From 2 nd year onwards we got that internship program to pursue

The college days

What I Liked

The infrastructure is very good I told before only the campus is very green
It is nature friendly and good to see it is like a heaven in easy words

What I didn’t like

I dislike the washroom of our college where there is no cleanliness
I dislike the food of the canteen sorry to say that

Placement Experience:

There will be placements compare to you’re marks and the faculties will teach you how to communicate in interview and the percentage should be more than 75 because there will be students who competite

Internships Opportunities:

Shishira softbiz was my company there I did my internship about python with full stack and my project was video behaviour for anamoly detection it will detect all the abnormal activities in the cctv survillience camera

About the college

What I Liked

College is good. Not with big amount of fees.
Faculty are very nice and friendly and best.

What I didn’t like

College the canteen food is not good as the college is.
Campus Life they keep us busy with the class works

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in college Campus which gives the training for students so they can get placed in good company. The average placement of students per year is around 500 including pg. and ug departments.

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted for any internship but the college gives u the opportunity like u have to do some big project which is almost equivalent to the internship. The final sem is mostly concentrated on the project l.

Brutal honest review of st Philomena college

What I Liked

They infrastructure of the college is green
The students are from abroad and they are very friendly with us.

What I didn’t like

I don't like faculties because the keep changing
The faculty is not that professional with the students

Placement Experience:

The college do conduct placement drives in the college itself and they do provide internship for the students as well. The previous batch students got a average package of 6lpa. The eligibility criteria for it is that you need to have good academic marks.

Internships Opportunities:

I got an internship in shishra softbiz pvt Ltd. They truly provide quality knowledge and they make sure every student has understood the assignment. They provide offline and online classes to the students.

My college life experience

What I Liked

I like the college campus, it is filled with greenery and nice places to take a break in, etc.
I like that I have made a lot of new friends in the college and have made a lot of beautiful memories already within a year.

What I didn’t like

The partiality shown by some staff in favour of the locals of Karnataka and against the students and hostelites from different states and countries.
The gender inequality shown towards the female students by some male staff, especially when it comes to sports/watching sports.

Placement Experience:

My plans after getting the degree I'm doing now (BA Criminology) is to do the MA after which I will be pursuing PhD in the same field as it is of my interest and intrigue that I chose the course in the first place. I plan to take my PhD abroad for the exposure and also to work while studying.
