Earlier students are selected through MPPVFT exam but by this year admission or the merit for the students who applied in councelling are on the basis of NEET examination. This college has good educational facilities and the good thing is clinical practice in their own hospital (Veterinary Clinical Complex). Facilities of different livestock farm for educational purpose and also India's one of school of wildlife and forensic health is also in this college.
